Everyone was silent. Finally Irial spoke. "Why doesn't anyone just say that the leader is one of us?" she asked. "No one would believe us... It's a death warrant just to say that..." Amiel said. Irial nodded. "I'd just like to get some food and rest for now. Mila and I can discuss everything over and we'll see about it in the morning. Is that okay?" "That's perfectly alright. James can lead you to where you will be staying..."
Amara reappered on the other side of the world. Ellen landed hard on the ground, her eyes wide in fear. "Please...!" she said, as Amara lifted her up and held her in the air. "Have mercy!" Amara smiled. "Be glad I don't have my Mercy..." Amara said with a cruel smile. (more on that later ;D) "So you can bring back the dead..." Amara mused. "Tell me about your power." Ellen looked stricken. "I... I... Yes.. It's true. It's easier if I bring back the recent dead." "How dead?" Amara said, turning her steely gaze on the frightened girl. "If they just died, like within 48 hours, there's little problems, memoryloss or anything. Depends on how they die too... If they were crushed by a car, I would need to work with a healer, or they'd wake in severe pain..." Ellen said. "Bullet wounds or or less gruesome injuries can be fixed though." "Is there a limit to how long the person could be dead before you could bring them back to life?" "I've never tried it on a skeleton, if that's what you're asking... I suppose if the body is that decomposed, my powers wouldn't work..." "Show me..."
They reappeared in a clearing. A deer, eating there suddenly bolted, but not before Amara could catch him. With ease, she broke the deer's neck. Forcing the girl over to the dead deer, she stood by, watching. "Heal the deer..." Ellen, hand's shaking, bent over. Pressing her hands to the deer's chest and head, she closed her eyes. As her powers worked, Amara felt something click within her. She'd copied the girl's abilities. The deer suddenly sprung to life. Ellen jumped back to avoid being kicked. Amara repeated what she did. Ellen whimpered as Amara killed the deer again, her eyes cold. Bending over herself, she followed what she was supposed to do. She felt a warmth flow from her into the body of the deer. The fur shifted beneath her hands. Amara stood back at the deer jumped to it's feet and sprinted into the woods. This time Amara didn't stop it. She figured that it'd had died enough. "What... what... will you do with me?" Ellen said, her lip shaking. Amara thought. "You are of little use to me now, I have your ability. Why should I keep you around any longer?" "Oh! Please!" Ellen said, tears streaming down her face. "Please... Don't kill me!" Amara sighed. Why would this girl not die with ease? She felt the girl's thoughts. She was afraid of death!!! Amara suddenly realized. That was why she could bring creatures back to life. She didn't like death. But she couldn't save herself. "I don't like when people grovel..." Ellen immediately stood up. "I'm sorry... Just please---" Without warning, a blade materialized and swung around into Ellen's chest. Ellen's breath cut short, as she fell back into the grass, her eyes wide with fear and surprise. "And I definitely don't like to be questioned. I require obedience..." Amara knelt down and pressed her hands to Ellen's bloody chest and forehead. Suddenly Ellen gasped, as took a breath. "You... you killed me..." Ellen said with wide eyes. "Yes, and I brought you back to life. Now the next time you piss me off, I'll make it permanent and trust me. You won't be coming back.
Irial and Mila were lead by James. Niki sprinted a head of them in young excitement. He hadn't had a settled place to say since the Company. "Here you go..." James said, handing them to key and leaving.
Amara reappeared with Ellen where she buried Damien. She almost regretted not leaving Ellen dead. The girl taked incessently. She was in awe that Amara would bring her back. Amara rolled her eyes. Intent now, she uncovered the grave with an easy snap of her fingers. She closed her eyes to make an illusion. Lifting his body out, she quickly used her new abilities. Her heart almost exploded when Damien groaned. "Damien..." she whispered. He opened his eyes, confused and groggy. "Joyclyn?" he asked with a smile. She had never told him of her name change. And he had never known. "Yes..." she said, hugging him. Ellen walked over. Damien frowned. "Was I dead? They killed me, right?" "And I will get my revenge. Don't worry..." "Oh, I'm not. I missed you. I'm glad you brought me back..."

Darren looked mad. "If you knew it was going to happen, why didn't you stop it." "Because I can't, I'm no match for Amara." Diego said, without feeling ashamed. "You're a coward!" Eyes were turned to Diego once more, they looked how Darren had pulled a gun and pointed it between Diego's eyes, from very close. He was leaning into him, expression very angry, rage. Diego felt getting a bit scared by the gun, he pushed it away. "I'm rather alive than dead." He said, and put a step back. "So, what are we going to do now?" Darren asked, defeated and ashamed of his action. "We'll move on towards Rome, hoping to meet up with Rose as soon as possible. She'll be walking back to warn us, if we're welcome, but I'm sure we are." Darren nodded.
Diego waited for everyone to pack their stuf, he looked down the long tunnel. If they would walk on like this, it would soon turn into a cave. The nice thing about the tunnel was that special people had worked on it, and Rome was only a two day walk. He just hoped that Adam was right, that The Company in Rome was safe from the government organization.
"Where are you waiting for, Martin, kill me!" Marco said, laughing a bit. Adam had turned to them, not fast enough to stop Martin before he attacked. If he wanted, he could push his sword through Marco and hit the attacker. But there was still Philip, who shot massive fire blows at the man. They were to big to dodge, after healing from a few Adam begun to charge, his sword right in front of him. "I won't kill you, but you know I could." "I do..." Marco responded. "But you'll not get far with that, I know how to heal. Even from that perfect end." Martin pulled away the gun and moved away from the battlefield that Adam and Philip had created. "Stay here, I got different things to do." He said, putting Marco's hands on the car and chaining him to it with Chris' ability. Gem was still holding Chris and Nate under shot, so no one that could help him escape. Meanwhile, Adam was still charging, doing his best to reach Philip. The fire blows were pointed straight at his eyes, but the immortal was able to protect major parts of his face with his sword, which didn't melt. Telling that Philips power did not control heat, but only fire. Martin saw how the older brother healed much faster than Marco, his eyes were back to normal within a few seconds, his leg was healed the moment he put pressure on it again. Although Marco had spend a good amount of years evolving his ability, that of Adam had more use to it. But then their was that slightest different that occurred in both their powers, Adam got tired, while Marco always exploded of energy. Adam healed fast, but not mentally. As that was where Marco was really good at. If you could combine those powers, that would make someone invincible.

Amara smiled. She closed her eyes. He could never die so long as she were there... "What should we do with the girl...?" Amara asked him as they walked quietly. "It's up to you. She's nice though. Not an asset sure, but you don't have to kill everyone that isn't necessary..." he said, with a frown. She'd told him about what had really happened. That her name was now Amara. But he couldn't get used to it. "Joyclyn, what are you going to do now...? The Company has fallen, right? And everyone as scattered." "That makes my life a lot more difficult..." Amara grumbled. Damien laughed. "Please, difficult? Just say you'll return with me, Joyclyn, and won't go after them..." he said, concerned. "You can be normal..." Amara looked him in the eye. "Normal?" she asked, incredulous. "I'm anything but! How could I go back? Besides, they'd come anyway. I'd always be on the lookout.... I rather be the hunter, than the hunted..." Amara said, her voice cold. Damien sighed. "Then where are we going?" "To Rome." (do you want to do anything with Irial and Mila? Because I have them just waiting around and stuff. )

James waited for Amiel to send him to get Irial and Mila, there were some problems, Special people who wanted to show what they were. "We need to stop them, Amiel." "Aren't we already busy with that?" Amiel muttered, staring at the desk and the many papers in front of her. "Well, yeah! But, we could use some new force." "You want to send Irial and Mila, right?" The Elder didn't look to happy discovering that. James made a painful face, but nodded. "We're not going to... I want them to feel save, not like they felt when they were part of the Company. If we send them on missions, we do it like we do with the others, ask!" She spoke. "Understood?" "Sure." James said, still disagreeing, and walked off. "Oh, and James, will you ask Irial and Mila if they want to take over Adam and Marco as soon as Martin, Gem and Philip have caught them?" She was used to say the names of everyone, to show how involved she was.
Martin ran up to Philip, he could not attack Adam as his partner was keeping him off, if he would he only got burned. "Adam, give it up!" He yelled, noting that Adam didn't come any closer as he tried to get through the fire. To his amazement Adam did stop, heavily breathing. "Oh, Martin. You're making a huge mistake, who says that The Family isn't just like The Company. They have missions, don't they? Only difference is that they don't have any useless Humans in their teams." Martin rose an eyebrow. "And they're not seeing me as a Villain." Adam sighed. "True, we don't either." Now Martin and Philip charged, at the same time. They shot both fires onto Adam, who fell back as he tried to dodge. Flesh burned off, until he was half skeleton. They stopped, running up to Adam to catch him before he completely healed and could get away.

Amara kicked in the door. It was to the house of a small family. Perfect for a little rest and recooperation and to gather a new ability. The woman screamed, as Amara three her across the room. The husband rounded the corner, pointing a gun at Damien, Amara and Ellen. Amara smiled, as she flicked the gun out of his hands and threw him down the hall. "What are you doing!?" Ellen said, eyes wide. Amara ignored her. She tossed the gun to Damien, who looked at it with awe. "Get the man..." she snapped, as Damien ran over to the husband. Grabbing the woman, she smiled. "So you create cosmic energy..." she said.
Irial and Mila were just finishing up lunch as James walked in. Niki ran up to him. He liked James. "Hey!" Niki said. "Look what I found!" he said, showing James a grasshopper. "Cool!" James said with a laugh. The kid was pretty cool. "I'd let it go though..." he said. "You wouldn't want it getting squished!" Niki shook his head. "Oh no!" he said. "I wouldn't mind..." he said, which startled James. Perhaps some amount of unfeeling had rubbed off from his sisters onto him. "Oh..." James said, confused. "Wait here. I want to show you something!" "Hello, James..." Irial said, as she walked over. "I'd leave now before Niki makes you watch his little performance over and over..." Irial said rolling her eyes. "He's already bored Mila and I to death..." "Really?" James said, mood light. "But that's totally alright. I'd love to see what Niki has instore..." "Your death..." Irial said with a laugh. James hadn't seen Irial this relaxed in a while. It was the first time she'd made a joke. Niki came sprinting back. He had a container of grasshoppers. "Wow! Look at them all!" "Just watch!" he said, as he opened the lid. James watched as Niki stared intently at the insects. Suddenly they started doing... tricks!!! Playing leap frog. Doing flips..." "Woah!" James said, impressed. Niki looked at James. "I made them do that!" Niki said, eyes wide with excitement.
Niki explained that he found out he can control not just humans but animals. He found out yesterday when a fly had bitten him. He'd made it fly into a fan, and get killed. "Well, it bit me!" Niki said, pouting, when James said that making a fly commit suicide wasn't nice. "See? This is where it bit me! And it itches!" James laughed, but inside he was thinking. Niki's powers were growing. He had some sort of mind power like his sisters. Mila could take away the senses, which was with coordinated with the mind. Irial could torture mentally. Niki could control. This might be the most dangerous. He had dark thoughts underneath his childish wishes. It started out with killing a fly, then a whole city. Like Amara... James shook his head. No, Niki was an innocent young boy. Nothing like the heartless killer, Amara. But Amara had once been Joyclyn, right? Joyclyn had been a young, pretty teenager who just fell along the wrong path because of what the Company had done... Mila took James from his thoughts. "I'm guessing that you didn't come to us to see Niki's tricks..." she said, her face betraying nothing. "What is it?" she asked. Jame's heart sunk a little. They weren't stupid, he could tell that they knew what he was going to ask.
Mila shook her head. "No. We just got situated. What are you, the Company?" she asked. James put his hands up. "We are not the Company! Nothing close! But this is necessary. You didn't even ask the situation!" "Fine, tell us the situation..." Irial said, coolly. Niki had come over, and was sitting, listening. "There are people who want to expose us." "Us as in The Family?" Niki asked. "No... As in us. Everyone with abilities." James heard Irial suck in a breath. "So, what do you say?" "Yes" Irial said, just as Mila said "No." Irial looked at Mila. "Niki needs to stay here. I won't let him be endangered..." she said. "I think it best if I go and you stay with him..." she said, thinking. "It's for the best."

James nodded. "Good, Sofie will join you in a minute." He said, leaving. He hadn't sticked to Amiel's plan, which was to get the twin to take over Adam and Marco as soon as they were caught. He should have asked that too, but that was a problem for later. As soon as Irial would come back from this one mission he would ask again. Ask, like Amiel always said.
Sofie came into Amiel's office, she smiled. "I just spoke to James, he said that Irial agreeded with the plan." Amiel nodded, not looking up. "Any idea who those people are?" She asked. Sofie shook her head. "But they certainly do want to get killed." She noted, and left again, knowing they had finished their conversation already. She walked over to Irial and Mila's room, they might be surprised to see her, last time they met she was in America. Karl had picked her up from the airport before she was about to leave for the plane to Europe. She opened the door to their room, waving at Irial that it was time to go.
Diego was walking up front, next to him was Darren, who held a flashlight in his hand. The long line of lights had stopped a few minutes ago, and almost everyone was equipted with a flashlight. Diego just used Alex' ability to light the tunnel up a bit. That made him think, he looked around. Where was Alex? He was sure that the girl had brought him back to life as well. "Darren, have you seen Alex?" Darren looked around, and shook his head. "He probably ran of." He said, with no sense of compassion in his voice. "But... Diego, why don't you teleport yourself out of here, and the rest of us for that matter." "Because i don't know where we are, i can't teleport all of you. That would mean if I transport a few of you out, i can't come back to find the rest." Diego said, he wasn't sure of what he said was right, but he wouldn't take chances.
Philip and Martin kept Adam from standing up, who struggled to get loose out their grip, the immortal had almost fully healed. Philip took out a needle and placed that in Adam's arm. It was good that the older brother couldn't heal from any mental damage so fast, this could hold him silence for an amount of time.

Amara sat back. They'd easily disposed of the bodies. She'd used the life energy from them to renew her strength. Time to wait out the storm and plan. They needed to plan. Things were confusing at best. Suddenly out of no where, she heard Ellen scream. She jumped to her feet, as a hail of darts flew at her. She stopped them, just in time and flung them outwards. Men in black army suits swarmed the house. They pointed their guns as Damien and Amara, who stood there, back to back. Surrounded, Damien shook, his fear obvious. Amara just smiled pleasantly, her gaze frigid. "Get her!" the lead man shouted, as they moved in. Ropes flew out, as Amara attacked. They were unprepared and she would kill them all.
Irial nodded. She gave Mila and Niki one last hug. "Do you have to go?" Niki said, his face sullen. "I do what I have to..." Irial said with a sigh. "I want to come with you..." Niki protested. "You know that I can't have that. Perhaps when you're older, you can come. But for now, I need you to be safe. Help protect Mila..." Irial offered with a smile. Niki nodded in thought. Irial turned to her sister. "I'll be seeing you..." she said with a dull smile. "You better..." Mila said back with a shaky laugh. They both knew how dangerous this could get. They knew little of what was happening as it was. "I'll miss you. You better come back, you hear?" Mila said, as she stepped away. They stood there and watched Irial leave.
Amara stood over the last man. Grabbing him, she lifted him up. He tried to punch her, but she just easily grabbed his wrist and gave a twist. He gave a muted cry as the bones snapped. Dropping him back into a chair, Amara stood back. "So, why did you attack," she asked, her hands covered in blood. Damien stood besides her, his face stony. "Orders..." the man gasped. "Orders to capture..." he said. "We never meant to kill..." "Shutup..." Amara said, silencing the soldier with her hand. The man looked at her with awe and terror. He'd be trained to fight, but not the likes of her. "You will tell me everything..." Amara said, getting close. "Everything..."

"Don't worry." Sofie said to Irial. "Amiel never sends new ones on really dangerous missions, and she knows you have Family." She tried to comfort her. "Besides, we're only the back-up, the real guys are already solving this problem, maybe we are lucky and there's nothing left to do for us." She did wanted to go there, because Renie would be there.
Marco watched powerless when Building 26 agents rushed down the street corner and began to shoot at the fighting man, the hopelessly tried to kill Philip, Adam and Martin, who protected themselves with fire. They hit Chris in his head, who was dead before hitting the ground, and Nate in his leg when he tried to run away. Sarah saved Nate from being shot again, and they fled. Gem had ran to Marco and yelled at Philip and Martin to hurry up. Adam had completely healed, but he lay there as a dead man anyways, his eyes staring up to the sky. Martin stood up and lifted Adam over his shoulder before running up to Gem, who was covering them by shooting back. The Agent of Building 26 were coming in faster, they seemed to have their eyes on Adam, Philip and Martin. The abilities of Philip and Martin showed how dangerous special people were, or could be. "Philip, get here." Gem yelled, he tied up Marco and held the gun to his head. "I can kill you with it, and you know it!" He sneered. Philip ran over to Martin and Gem, when they were finally close to each other, Gem could work his magic. His ability completely covered up all track of them being there, sound, sight, smell, touch. The agents, that walked by after a few minutes, were confused, how could five people have disappeared into no where. "I hope those Building 26 people don't get too messy on this." Philip muttered as they were leaving the battlefield to get to the safety house. "I just hope they give up." Gem said. Walking in the middle, to keep everyone fully covered. His ability worked amazing, and he didn't even seemed touched by it, like he could release much greater things. That he could make even larger things disappear.
Diego moved up front, they had been walking a long time, now even running, because they hadn't yet met up with Rose. Diego could hear the fear of all the agents that followed him, Darren ran besides him. "Listen, Darren. When we arrive, save..." "Safe?" Darren yelled. "You really think we get there, save. We don't even know if that whole Company is save, maybe they've all been killed like the rest of us?" "Shut up!" Diego said, getting angry as Darren made the level of fear go up. He hated Darren's nagging, he should have chosen someone else to lead the survivors. As soon as he would be gone, what trouble could Darren be causing then? "When we arrive, we go to the Leader of the Company in Rome and ask for information about this Organization and the Family. We need to know where we're up against." Darren was about to speak again, but held his mouth shut. Thoughts rushed into Diego's mind. Just kill me, Diego. Please, just kill me. Diego turned away in frustration, madness. The most thoughts he had been hearing over time were suicidal, were madness. None of the now alive agents seemed to have wanted being risen from the dead.

(It's not you My memory is going XD) Amara waited as the man told her what had happened. The government saw her and everyone else like her as a threat, so they were going to capture them all. "You think you can capture me?" Amara said with an incredulous laugh. "I'll make you eat that!" she said. She breathed in his fear, and it made her stronger. "Oh, before this day is over, we'll really get to know one another..." Amara said with a cruel smile. [back at the Capital] "Has the team responded?" "No." "Who were they after?" "Joyclyn Sage." "Send in a squad!" "Sir, she's more dangerous than the others. She's a... collector." "Collector?" "Well that's what it says on her file. She steals other peoples' abilities." "Then take her down. She's too much of a risk to be kept alive." "You can't kill her, Sir. She's immortal." The man looked at him incredulously. "There must be a way to kill her. No one is unstoppable. Send in the squad." The cleark just shook his head. He'd met Amara before... and had barely escaped with his life. Irial followed, her thoughts in a haze. "So, can you tell me exactly what I'm getting myself into?" Irial asked. "You only told me a little..."

"Ask anything you like. Nothing is a seceret within the family." Sofie said with a light smile as they started driving through a darker getting night.
Diego sighed loudly when he saw the road breaking up in two, how could they possibly know which way to go, and how had Rose and William found out before them. "Okay, which way?" Darren asked, staring at Diego for help. "I don't know..." Diego replied, not showing how frustrated he was still with all those thoughts hanging around in the air. "But I'm sure that if we split up we'll find our way out..." He said. Darren shook his head. "We're not going to split up! Just use your powers or something, like that enhanced hearing of yours!" "Hard to say, I hear both English and Italian on both sides and both speak to fast to get what they are really saying." "Then... both sides must be right!" Darren said, which sounded very hopeless. Diego had nothing to say, he knew it was 50/50 that they would take the right way. He took left. And everyone followed him without any questions, they wouldn't care to be taken into certain dead, it was what they all wanted. And maybe, soon they would get it.

Irial sighed. "First, can you tell me exactly who we're after and what they've done? I'm pretty much in the dark... I like to know what I'm up against. That idea has kept me alive thus far..." Irial said with a synical smile.
Swearing Amara dropped the body on the floor. So the Family had been correct about the government. She'd thought that'd all been a bunch of bullshit. Guess not. But that didn't matter. Their attack didn't work. They'd have to try harder-much harder-to catch her. She'd just have to be on their watch. "What did you see?" Damien asked. "Let's just say that our government is a lot crueler than me..." she said with a laugh. "At least I'd put them out of their misery and take their burden off their hands..." Damien frowned, as Amara told him what she'd pulled from the soldier's mind. "So what now?" he asked. "These soldiers have probably been noticed already. They're probably sending in backup as we speak. We should leave..." "Leave?" Amara asked, a wicked grin on her face. She was pissed off and she'd love another fight. The last one was too easy... But Damien too her hand. He smiled, crookedly at her, taking her into his arms. "Lets go. I know what you're thinking; I don't need any mind reading ability for that... That attitude will get you killed on day. I'll be your common sense," he said, kissing her lightly. Amara smiled. "Fine, fine... Then lets leave. If I'm correct, Diego and what remains of the Company are heading to Rome. He'll have a surprise waiting for him, if I can help it."
(um, why does Diego want to go to Rome? Besides that there's like another Company there, right?)

(Besides the Rome Company, that's a secret : D for sometime at least. you'll find out soon enough )
Sofie smiled back a bit. "They're just like us, some haven't been in contact with The Company or the Family for years. They think they're safe, powerful, and in a rare need to be open to the world. We, the Family, have always been trying to keep this evolution a part of our secret, something special that only we know, but others are trying to show it to the world. We can't have that, you've seen what this Government Organization has done, someone has told them of people like us as well." She paused. "It's dangerous for us to be exposed, we're not going to hurt them if that's not nessasery, just want to make them aware of what they're doing. Anyways, that won't take such a very long time, since we have you... After that James told me to drop you off at the safety house, Mila will be there too, i guess. You two are the only ones good enough to get Adam and Marco back too the head quarters. I hope James told you about that?"

Irial's eyes narrowed, but she kept her face a mask. "Marco?" she asked, voice indifferent. "No, James told me little of nothing. What has that fool done now?" Irial asked, honestly curious. Marco was probably still working to get on his "rule the world" plan. Irial smiled. Old times.
Amara appeared in the town square. Tourists moved unconsciously around her. Damien looked down at his clothes, feeling uncomfortable. Amara smiled viciously, smelling the summer air. Amara glanced over at Damien, who tugged at the tight shirt. "Ugh. I hate this color too. Reminds me of vomit..." Amara laughed. Damien's shirt faded subtly into a light blue to match his glacier-colored eyes. "Better?" Amara asked. "Much." "Come, we have a ways to go. I'm out of my element..." Amara said, a hint of nervousness in her voice. "At least we're out of the American government's reach; not that they were much of a threat. Be on your guard, I have more than enough problems...and enemies that want my head..." Amara said with a ruthless smile. "I know this is where Diego is headed... We'll be waiting."

Diego sighed of relief when they had reached the door at the Roman Company safely. They hadn't run into Rose or William, but they could not tell if they hadn't reached it. Darren knocked on the door, until a young man with Raven black eyes stared at them through the door post. "You are here." the man said, he looked at the group. "You are the refugees from Paris, right?" Darren nodded, and the man moved away from the door opening it widely.

(I wrote this on my vacation... i wasn't sure about a few things.. but whatever : D )
Martin looked around, he just woke, Philip and Gem allowed him to sleep a little. He still felt he had to catch up on much sleep, sleep that he hadn’t bothered about when he had Marco’s power. He stood up and walked over to the door, seeing the light of the living room of their hideout shine through. He opened it widely and held his hand in front of the light, he wiped the sleep out of his eyes and entered the room. Marco and Adam were chained to a chair, the Eldest brother had lost his conscious, or he was sleeping, anyways, he didn’t look awake. The younger brother had his eyes on Martin, looking angry. Martin knew that Marco would hate him for what he had done, betrayal. He didn’t see it like that. Philip and Gem were sitting behind the computer, they hadn’t said a word since they caught the two Villains and reached the lair, they had to report their .... with the Government agents. It seemed to get to dangerous to walk on the streets. They didn’t have ears and eyes for Martin and the brothers. “I hadn’t expected you with the Family, I would have never imagined. But i guess... i understand.” Marco whispered, his anger face turned into a razor smile. “Oh, you do?” Martin asked, a bit amazed. He was not yet so far to have found a reason for it himself. “Yes... You lost your powers, a big amount of them, we didn’t come to help you. We wanted, don’t understand us wrong, but it didn’t seem possible.” He watched as Martin came closer. “You can’t heal, you’re a easy target for the Government, this... Family, it gives you certainty that you won’t die in battle. But don’t you miss being your own boss?” He didn’t need an answer for that. “I bet you do, even when you were with me, you will always be the one to decide.” He leaned forward, so his voice could be soft and Philip and Gem wouldn’t hear it. He was healed perfectly, not like Adam, who seemed to take longer. So, with powers, the youngest was stronger, and when it came to making plans, Adam had the sickest mind. Together, they were the perfect Villains. They had lived their lives among humans, knowing what everyone of them desired. “You can get some of your powers back, you know.” “Oh, really... shall I take your brothers’ power?” Martin began to like it, he knew that Marco was making up plans for the future, and if they evolved him, it wasn’t all bad. “No, not my brothers’. He’s weaker than me, you’ll kill him if you take his ability, and you know you won’t kill me.” Marco said with a smile. “You can take my ability, with the speed that you have now, it won’t be a problem to get it done before your ‘friends’ ever turn their heads.” “And what then, go to Chris and Nate.” “Could be, of course, Chris and Nate are only pion's. I say, kill them, take their powers.” Martin felt called, Nate’s power, Chris’ power. “They are useless because they get killed fast, I never meant for them to stay this long, i thought they would have died by now. I was wrong of course. Now, I know that you would like to have such powers as Chris and Nate have, being able to move things. You have their powers partly, killing them and taking their ability would allow you to have all of it. You want that, don’t you?” Martin nodded without knowing he did. He wanted to be the strongest again, and in the end, take back on Diego for what he had done to his sister. “You could kill them, then you would be one of the strongest beings to walk this earth. I guess there are some things that you need to finish, aren’t there?” Kill Diego, kill Joyclyn, kill Mila and Irial. Raced through his mind. “Good, then do it!” Martin rose from his place and with incredible speed his sliest open Marco’s head, looking at the part which formed the Ability again, he took it, then left through the door. His old leader had whispered in his ear where Nate and Chris could be, plus a girl named Sarah, with an other special power. Martin was back, he felt his sleep disappearing, the wounds he had healing, his mind clear again. “Diego.” The man with the black eyes said, when Diego entered last. “I hadn't expected you to be back already.” “But I did, and I need to talk to her.” The man with the black eyes nodded and leaded the whole group through the building, they were in the basement. The next few floors were still underground, but there weren't cells. Every floor had it's laboratory, scientists and researchers. Rome Company was based on figuring out how Evolution had occurred by the special people, what they had in common. After a few floors they met up with more special people, everyone but Darren and Diego was assigned to a job, back to real live. “You are the new leader of the Paris Company?” A young lady asked to Darren, she winked at Diego. They had met before, Diego was assigned to go to the Rome Company to recover from what he had done, it was no more than a few days, but he had learned a lot. He had stopped caring about himself, he had noticed how small the world was, and now Paris didn't seem as such a big load with people, it was only a small percentage of the world population. The young lady was named Susan, she came from the US, where she had worked together with Mr. Linderman, later joined the Company, then came to Rome to build up the research facility. She was able to look inside computers, she could download any kind of program in her mind, she was the heart disk of Rome Company. She wasn't very pretty, but her kindness towards Diego had drawn enough attention. He kind of liked her, he could remember her face the day he saw her, she was the girl that was with him in one of his dreams of the future. He couldn't remember it well, but she was in it, they were together, until some Government attacked, maybe this was all meant to happen as well. “What's left of it.” Darren answered, his thoughts of suicide had gone away, but they made place for thoughts of escaping from the life he had led to now. “Have William and Rose arrived safely?” Diego asked. “Perfectly save, we have asked both of them to stay here, and not go and look for you.” Susan answered. “But we're all save now. If you follow me, I'll bring you to my boss.”
Sofie stepped out of the car, followed by Irial. “We're here. You only have to use your powers on them, and we'll take care.” She said to her, walking towards a big podium, which was placed near a Philips building, it had drawn some huge amount of attention. A lot of people were walking around, they were all powerless, and something had to be done before the special people would show up. Pieces of paper lay on the ground, they all included a man, who's body had turned into water, and text that said: 'Come now and get a piece of evolution!' it didn't look like a trick, no one could turn his body into water. “Who are 'them'?” Irial asked, getting the creeps of the situation. “They'll show up on stage, I think in a few minutes, we'll start off with getting all the people away. Then they'll come up for sure, you only have to make sure that they don't use their abilities.” Irial nodded.

i'll summarize. for myself too : D
Diego: In those few weeks that we fast forward from the first season to the second, he's been helping the company, one of those things were going to the Company of Rome. In the first season he had a look in the future, involving him and a girl running away from man with guns.
Martin and Marco: Marco is caught by the Family, they hate him. He's always caring for the help of Martin on the side of his goal, and with Martin's powers gone, getting him back into old habits seems more easy. Martin wants to kill the people that have gotten mad on his life. Joyclyn, Diego, Irial and Mila. He'll kill Chris and Nate because Marco has long thought they were only his fighters, not his friends.
uhm, what more is strange? )

(ok, I think I have this straight... I'm not too sure what Irial is doing, so you can lead until I catch on. ;D And how again did Martin lose his powers? So he can take powers like Sylar? From your last post, Martin is back with Marco - secretly...) (my plan with Amara... Amara knows ((I don't know how, so don't ask )) that Diego is in Rome. She's set on finding him and killing him. She's partially escaping the government, though she doesn't care too much good for them. I'm waiting to find a direction for her... lol.)
