From a big fan fic I once wrote called "Turn this up, I'll tune you out." based on Fall Out Boy's clip for their single "A little less sixteen candles..." (Bit similar to Underworld, the movie)
Useless fights between Vampire and Hunter have turned Enders' Valley into a war zone. They even involved the Werewolves, fighting on their own side, hoping to become as powerful as the Vampires. For more than a year it has been war, and the Vampires are going over to their final step, the ultimate plan to shade the sun and bring darkness forever over the valley. The normal citizen lives in fear, not leaving their houses at night, trying to escape from the cities, but find that they are prisoners within the war area. Enders' Valley is under quarantine, no one can reach them, people are being shot at the borders.
Vampires:
Like you know them, blood sucking beings, can only get killed by beheading or a stake to the hear, their weakness is garlic and direct sunlight, making them able to walk at day, but having to avoid any solar contact. They do not fear churches or crosses, not being related to god and religion in any way. A bite can cause anyone to become a Vampire, but when all blood is drained there is no way back to life or undead. Without blood not even a Vampire can come to life.
Hunters:
Normal humans, sometimes Vampire or Werewolf or people with special gifts (For example: Looking into the future, telephatic, or Enhanced strength). They've had their own piece of Vampire war, and are no determined to remove all vampire and Werewolf activity from Enders. They work in small groups, around 5 hunters, and have only recently joined the Hunter Network (HN). They are with lesser numbers than Vampires and Werewolves. Hunters can be anyone, a normal citizen, or a Vampire or Werewolf. Most normal people involve with Hunters because they have seen their family being killed. Some have family within the HN, and friends. Being a Hunter is a choice.
Werewolves:
Furry beings, ruthless killers and horrific animals. Werewolves have only entered the war for a month and already caused a majority of deaths within the whole war. They can be killed by a silver bullet to the hear or head, their weakness is silver and human love, making them unable to switch form. Werewolves are always able to switch into a wolf, but only at full moon is this change completely.
Cities:
Enders' Valley counts three cities with over 100.000 inhabitants, other villages around have around 1.000 or less people. Enders is placed in a rarely unknown world, most existing off different countries, the one that Enders belongs to is a bit similar to America.
Decay:
Once one of the most richest places of the country, now a dusty paradise for Vampires. The most famous hunter group, leaded by Patrick stump and Pete Wentz, wasn't able to stop the Dandies from take over. There is not much Human inhabitants left, but those who are fear the dark and life all together at the local train stations, metro stations and sewer systems, the places where Vampires hate to come now they are boss, but sometimes do for a little snack.
Clandestine:
A restless city holding most Werewolves at one place, Hunters are spare, humans are everywhere. The Werewolves make sure that they will have food for as long as the war takes, being not at the side of the Vampires or at that of the Hunters. They soon take over Clandestine like the Dandies have done with Decay.
FBR:
the biggest city of the valley, it's main industry considers fishing and trade, and it has become breeding place for the three biggest Vampire gangs: The Dandies, The Reevers and The Havers. soon to work together. Since lost of Decay to the Dandies, at the start of the war, it's also the place where most Hunters are active.
Vampires and Werewolves are immortal.
