The idea was taken from the series- Vampirates, by Justin Somper. (The idea is great, but book really stinks...)
Pirates: Just the regular old rouges that were the ‘terrors of the sea’ in older times. And yes this is a neutral gender thing.
Vampirates: They’re pirates who are vampires. They are just myth, lore legend that’s told among the seafaring ‘men’. They are usually a laughing joke, and none truly believe in Vampirates, but many pirates are superstitious. Those who do believe in Vampirates are many times wrong about them and under estimate them; they believe different things and many times things are exaggerated, joked about, ect. There’s not many of them, because the less of them there are, the more hidden they will be (one of their rules). There’s only enough to for about one crew, which there is only a crew of vampirates; is ruled by one. They have black sails and a black ship. Their flag is the skull and crossbones; the Jolly Roger (duh), but it’s kinda different. They follow their own rules and among themselves, the rules are strict. There’s a set of Blood Laws that a vampirate must abide to. Like all pirates, vampirates are big on vigilante justice: taking the law into their own hands for punishment.
They have heightened, inhuman senses, strength, speed, agility, and balance, ect. They can hold their breath from about five to ten minutes, depending on how strong they are. They also have pure black eyes and are very pale. They heal much faster than the average human, and are totally immune to diseases, but they still can sustain wounds and can dye from ones fatal enough. Bullets are of little harm to them, but still can injure a vampirate. They could rule the seas day and night, but it’s the sun that stops them. When the sun is out and shining brightly, they still look different, but in the sun, they lose their .The only thing that distinguishes them from a regular pirate is the eyes, and skin color and that they still have heightened senses, but physically they’re as weak as a human.
Hunters: People who have taken upon themselves to hunt down vampirates and kill them
You’re all going to decide what group you’re going to be in: Pirates, Hunters, or Vampirates. Please spread yourselves out evenly among the groups as possible.
