Azara is another world entirely. It’s kinda a dream world, a place between Heaven and Earth, that most or all people enter some time or another while they’re sleeping, but they’re unaware of it. When they wake, they remember little fragments of it or none at all. They mind involuntarily transports them to some place in this world, which is called Azara, or Land of Dreams.
Sometimes, people (young kids to teens) can (usually involuntarily) transport themselves, while they’re not asleep to this world. It’s usually a major event or something that triggers the transportation. Most of the times, it’s on the brink of death, a decision that a person must make to save themselves, weather they live or dye.
Other times people involuntarily send themselves here maybe must solve problems; figure out what’s their purpose in life, or to help themselves. These kids mostly have serious problems or issues in their real world.
Depending on how you first come to Azara, you must leave a certain way too. Different things happen to different people when a person comes to Azara. Depending on how what made you come here, your body in the real world does different things. Usually in the real world, it is only a second, other times you’re in a deep sleep (coma) that only you can wake yourself out of by returning both to mind and soul, other times you go though like as if you’re nothing, depressed and secluded (a zombie kinda) going though daily routines, but without emotion. These are things that can happen to your body while you’re in Azara. It all depends on the situation of what brought you here, but most of the time (99.8%) it’s just a second that you’re gone in the real world.
This is a magical place where reality is twisted, and the people who travel here while they’re not sleeping, must figure out the tricks, and magics of Travel. Azara is so beautiful, tempting, offering so much more than a person has in the real world, that they might not want to go back to their real lives, or might become trapped by feelings or emotions; which in Azara means that they won’t take the Jump. Azara’s magics are powerful and the strongest one of all is illusion. Illusion is a powerful thing: someone who is suffering from cancer is healthy here; a mute person can speak… Azara affects you, making you see the light in life, you are happy; it a sanctuary-you reside here until you’re ready to return.
Find Azara is realitivly is easy, leaving is hard. All who leave must take the Jump. There’s a large river going through Azara. On the other side is a place that all must eventually venture: The Swings… They site upon a sand dune- there, across the river are a set of swings, regular-looking playground swings. When you’re ready to return you sit on them and start to swing, pumping you legs, until you’re about to tip over the bar, then when you’re ready, you let go and Jump. If you have changed, and you're really read to Return, then you will make it over the invisible barrier and vanish, if not, then you will fall and crash into dust. You become one of the Sands, apart of the dune surrounding the Swings. If this happens, you usually you dye in the real world or say in a coma forever, but sometimes there’s a slight chance that you can be saved…
This wondrous, mystical, beautiful fantasy land is not without its perils and dangers…
Based from: The Dust Factory- (recommended to get ideas, see details, explains it more, but I've changed a lot of things… The movie itself was confusing overal and a little creepy. www.hollywoodjesus.com/dust_factory.htm
NOTE: we’re all around high school age
Also we’ve never really met each other before, and most of us should meet in Azara.
